Kirby Has Kidney Failure...

It is with a heavy heart that we share the information that we learned from our vet this morning. The lab work returned showing that Kirby is already in kidney failure. It is just more than our minds can wrap around how active and happy he was just a few days ago with no symptoms other than drinking tons of water which he always has done. Our vet is making an appointment for us to take him to Mississippi State not so much for a second opinion but just for us to talk to them about anything they might know or have to make his last days more comfortable. This is just the last thing we ever expected and one we are not quite ready to deal with. We would appreciate your prayers as we enter this stage with Kirby and as we are entering the second anniversary of Lynda's death in August. I know God will lead us and show us what to do. We have been blessed with a wonderful companion that will never be replaced. Our hearts just ache.
